70 migrants discovered on a yacht near Crete

athens - The Greek Coast Guard discovered a yacht off the coast of the island of Crete with seventy migrants on board. The 25-meter-long ship was probably on its way from the Turkish or Egyptian coast to Italy.

One of the passengers sent a distress signal, the coastguard did not mention the reason for the signal. Three patrol boats stopped the yacht and transferred the group of migrants to a port city. According to the coastguard, things are going well with the group.
