Earthquake Hits Fiji Islands
A 6 magnitude earthquake struck south of the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific region. The U.S. Geological Survey reported the epicenter of the earthquake was in the southern waters of the Fiji Islands. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of approximately 59 kilometers. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or damage. Following the earthquake, no tsunami warning was issued.
