krakow - Almost 563,000 young people have registered as participants for the Catholic World Youth Day with Pope Francis in Krakow, Poland. The organizing committee reported Friday that most of the pilgrims coming from host country Poland. They are represented among the 187 countries of origin, with nearly 172,000 participants.
Groups also come from Italy, France, Spain and the United States. From Germany to travel almost 15 500 participants to the event.
