red sea, egypt - A group of divers faced terrifying moments after their luxury diving boat capsized in the Red Sea, leaving them stranded in darkness for 35 hours.

A group of divers who set out from Ghaleb Port in Egypt on a luxury diving boat to dive in the Red Sea faced a terrifying ordeal when their boat capsized. The accident, which claimed the lives of 11 people, left the survivors stranded in darkness for 35 hours as the electricity was cut off.

After enduring the harrowing 35-hour ordeal, search and rescue teams reached the divers. Those who survived the accident that claimed 11 lives shared their terrifying experience.

Survivors of the diving boat accident in the Red Sea described their struggle to survive with limited oxygen and food inside the sunken boat.

One survivor, Luciana Galetta, recounted the moments of panic and desperation as they waited for rescue in the dark. She and her boyfriend, Christophe Lemmens, narrowly escaped drowning and found themselves in an air pocket in the engine room.

Another survivor, Sarah Martin, shared how the crew seemed unaware of the danger they were in until it was too late. The team had to navigate through the dark and slippery boat to find a way out.

In the midst of darkness and chaos, the survivors clung to hope as they waited for rescue. Despite the fear and uncertainty, their resilience and determination to survive prevailed until the rescue finally came.
