Europe (UEFA)

Qualifying involves 55 nations with 12 group winners directly qualifying. 4 additional spots via playoffs. Russia remains suspended.

Africa (CAF)

Asia (AFC)

8 automatic qualifiers. Japan likely to be the first team to qualify. Complex route with multiple rounds.

Oceania (OFC)

1 automatic spot, 1 intercontinental playoff place. Multi-round qualification process.
