1.5 million Germans malnourished

dresden - Approximately 1.5 million adult Germans suffer from malnutrition, especially the elderly and the chronically ill. That concludes a profession of food experts on the eve of a meeting with some 1,200 specialists in Dresden.
According to the scientists and doctors underestimate the political problem. There is more awareness of obesity. According to a German organization for geriatrics eat two-thirds of the elderly too little or too one-sided. They have less appetite due to illness and loneliness or have no money to eat healthy.
