paris, france - A 14-year-old boy dies after refusing to hand over his phone to two minors in Paris. The attackers, aged 16 and 17, are in custody.

Tragic Incident in Paris

A 14-year-old boy named Elias tragically lost his life in the 14th arrondissement of Paris after being stabbed in the shoulder during a confrontation over his phone. Despite receiving immediate aid from a friend on the street, Elias passed away the following day in the hospital.

The two teenage perpetrators, aged 16 and 17, who were already known to the police, were swiftly apprehended. One of them has reportedly confessed to the crime. They face charges including 'extortion leading to death,' which could result in a life sentence. Prior to this incident, the Paris-based duo had a criminal record involving a violent theft.
