mexico city - Mexican authorities are going to investigate the death of 113 rare sea turtles. The animals washed up in a piece of protected nature in Puerto Arista.
Between 24 July and 13 August, 102 dead little turtles were washed ashore over a stretch of coastal area of 30 kilometers long.
Experts suspect that the animals have died from suffocation, fish hooks or harmful algae. The authorities are going to test the water and autopsy has to show what the possible causes of death are.
