A court in the Spanish region of Galicia has allocated Spain a compensation of almost 1.6 billion euros for the damage caused by the sinking of the Prestige tanker in 2002. Galicia receives 1.8 million euros and France 61 million euros, according to the Spanish press office Europa Press Wednesday.
