Zschäpe speaks NSU process

Beate Zschäpe, the prime suspect in a series of neo-Nazi murders in Germany on Thursday for the first time taken the word in its process.

Zschäpe said in a brief statement that she used explicitly identified \'with parts of the nationalist ideology,\' but that's no longer the case. \'Today I no longer judge people based on their ethnicity or political views, but on the basis of their behavior,\' said a nervous looking Zschäpe.

The trial Zschäpe and some other NSU'ers began in 2013. Between 2000 and 2006 she was killed along with Uwe Mundlos and Uwe Bönhardt ten people, including nine from abroad. They are suspected of involvement in two bombings and several robberies. Mundlos and Bönhardt committed suicide in 2011.
