YouTube will stream movies and TV series

YouTube is working hard to obtain the rights to stream a wide variety of films and television series.

The video site wants the competition to go with providers like Netflix and Amazon by offering films on its paid channel. It is not clear what movies and series YouTube preys, but insiders know to ensure that there are currently busy negotiating with film studios and production companies to pry licenses mainly new releases.Because YouTube belongs to Google 's parent company Alphabet, is use existing connections that have already been laid for the Google Play store. YouTube took these ambitions last year, former content managers within that previously worked for MTV and Netflix.In October, YouTube launched Red, where the offer on the website for ten dollars a month without advertising can be viewed. The idea is to stream more exclusive videos in the future on the pay channel.
