YouTube arranges about music royalties

YouTube has reached an agreement with the American organization for publishers of music, the National Music Publishers Association.

The NMPA announced the deal Thursday. The holders not only get the money that they had a right to, but YouTube promises also to pay for the future use of their music. An exact figure is not known.

Publishers can log in the next time. Then YouTube gives participants a list of used songs whose rights holders are unknown. Publishers can then transmit the numbers of them, so that they can pay YouTube. YouTube will repeat a few times in the coming years.
