Woman survives days without lungs

Canadian doctors say they have a 32-year-old mother saved his life by removing her lungs.

After consulting with close family they removed the diseased lung in April, which was a medical first, according to the doctors, reported Wednesday the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail.

The woman was kept alive by ultra-modern technology, who arrived replaced the lungs until six days later, donor lungs and transplant failed. The woman learned only later from the dangerous and where known unique surgery because they then were held because of her critical condition in a coma.
