Woman and sons (9 and 12) die in menstruation cabin

A Nepalese woman was found dead in a hut where she was banned because she was at a time.

According to a Hindu ritual called 'chhaupadi', women have to be separated from society during their menstruation. During the period they are seen as unclean, so they are locked in insulated shacks or barns. It is also forbidden for them to touch men and cattle.
