Whistleblower Facebook scandal wants to testify

The whistleblower who brought out the scandal around the data processing firm Cambridge Analytica and Facebook is prepared to testify against American and British parliamentary committees of inquiry.

It concerns the intelligence committee and legal committee of the House of Representatives in the US and another parliamentary committee in the United Kingdom. 'It is time for our democratic institutions to take the lead,' Wylie tweeted.

Canadian Wylie worked for Cambridge Analytica. His interviews in The New York Times and The Guardian brought the scandal to light. Cambridge Analytica would have used personal information from tens of millions of Facebook users to experience voter profiles in the US in President Donald Trump's election campaign.
