Warnings after eruption volcano Bali

Indonesian aviation authorities warn of danger around Bali where the volcano Agung erupted.

The volcano is located in the northeast of Bali about 70 kilometers from the popular seaside resorts of Kuta and Seminyak. Roads, cars and buildings in the vicinity of the mountain are covered with a layer of ash. In the night from Saturday to Sunday there was a glow that pointed to magma being pushed out of the volcano.

At the last eruption of the volcano in 1963 more than a thousand people died and various villages were destroyed.
