Vice President VS visits Middle East

The American vice president Mike Pence will start a visit to the Middle East on Saturday.

The visit begins with a meeting with the Egyptian president Abdel Fatah al-Sissi, very against the wishes of many Egyptians. Two major clerics in Egypt have refrained from talking to Pence in protest about the recognition of the Jerusalem.

In Jordan, Pence speaks to King Abdullah II on Sunday. A day later he goes to Israel, where he meets Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin. He addresses the Knesset and visits the Holocaust Memorial Yad Vashem and the Wailing Wall.

A meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has been canceled. He feels absolutely nothing for a conversation with the advocate of the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, with which 'the United States has crossed red lines. '
