Venezuela will deliver ex-minister Curaçao

The Curaçao ex-minister George Jamaloodin may be handed over.

Jamaloodin has been stuck in neighboring Venezuela since March. He is suspected he has commissioned the assassination of politician Helmin Wiels in 2013. He would also have paid for it.

In addition, the former minister would have earmarked 450,000 Antillian guilders (about 214,000 euros) to subsidy fees and falsified in writing. Jamaloodin was minister of finance in the cabinet of Gerrit Schotte between 2010 and 2012.

When Jamaloodin is delivered, it has not yet been announced.
