Vatican hinders committee child abuse

Irish Marie Collins, a victim of sexual abuse by a priest, stepped out of the international committee that Pope Francis founded in 2014 in the fight against child abuse.

The Pope has accepted the resignation of the woman.

Last month also got another member of the Pontifical Commission for the Briton Peter Saunders. He too was abused as a child by a priest, and he accused the Curia does not cooperate with the investigation.

The committee is headed by the Cardinal of Boston, Sean O'Malley.
