US students receive bulletproof backpack

A school in the city of Miami allows parents to buy bulletproof shields for their children, who can carry them in their backpack.

The Florida Christian School, where children from their pre-school days to the end of middle school have never been the scene of a shootout. Nevertheless, the institute wants to prepare for such a situation.

The shields are a means of protecting the children, as well as special surveillance cameras and drunk shooting, said the head of security against The Washington Post. The students learn to keep their backpack against the chest if there is a shooting game, so the shields will catch the bullets.
