US looks at Syria military options

The US government is exploring the possibility of military intervention in response to the poison gas attack in Syria that killed dozens of civilians.

Secretary of Defense James Mattis will discuss the options likely Thursday with President Donald Trump in his retreat at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. He has consulted extensively as a government representative in Washington with National Security Herbert McMaster.

CNN reported Thursday that Trump against some Congressmen has said he is considering military action in Syria in retaliation for the use of chemical weapons this week. He is still out and will be heard only take a decision after the judgment of Mattis. Trump called the airstrike with suspected nerve gas sarin an 'atrocity'.
