US and China commit to climate deal

US President Barack Obama and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Monday pledged to work together to reach an agreement at the international climate summit in Paris.

Monday morning, more than 150 world leaders arrive at the UN conference. Ahead of the meeting Obama and Xi conducted consultation. Their countries emit a lot of greenhouse gases. Worldwide reduction in these emissions would have to counteract global warming.

From 11. 00 hours to be on top held the first speeches, including by the Secretary- General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon.
