Up to $ 9500 for bumping seat

Delta Airlines travelers who voluntarily give up their seat if a flight is overbooked, now can receive a fee of up to 9373 euros (9500 dollars).

The airline wants to prevent situations such as competitor United Airlines. A flight of United to Louisville was so overbooked that the crew had to designate a passenger to disembark. Despite fees to a thousand dollars no one was willing to voluntarily step out. The designated passenger was dragged out of the plane by security officers, where he was wounded.
