UN: only donated money for South Sudan

The call of the United Nations for financial aid for South Sudan seems to fall on deaf ears.

The number of people do not know where the next meal is coming from, continues to grow, especially in the northwestern states of Northern Bahr al-Ghazal and Warrap. Some 38 000 people from those areas have fled since late January to Darfur, a not exactly heavenly part of northern neighbor Sudan. The conflict in Darfur has been labeled by among others the UN Human Rights Council as a genocide. UNHCR fears that more will further deteriorate the situation in South Sudan.
