UN: gross violations of human rights Turkey

Between July 2015 and December 2016 were caused during operations by Turkish security forces in southeastern Turkey widespread destruction and violated human rights.

About 2,000 people were slain, disappeared or were tortured many others. Satellite images showed 'extensive destruction of houses using heavy weapons. 'Between 335 000 and 500 000 people, mostly Kurds, were forced to flee their homes.

High Commissioner Ra'ad Zeid al Hussein said in a statement that Turkey's 'very serious allegations' denies the report. It brings against it that Turkish security forces and others were attacked by the PKK, which would have been guilty of violations.
