UN: Armistice in Libyan capital

The militant groups that have been living for more than a week in and around the Libyan capital Tripoli have decided to keep the weapons silent for the time being.

'An agreement has been reached today about a ceasefire and an agreement has been signed to end all hostilities,' the statement said.

Earlier in the day there was still fierce fighting in the region. Hundreds of migrants who were in a reception center near the airport have, according to a social worker, taken their legs out of fear. It may involve a total of 1800 people. Video images on the social media would support that story. A spokesman for the Libyan Immigration Ministry denied that the camp was deflated.
