Ukraine wants longer talk about treaty

Ukraine hopes that can still be talk of the association agreement with the EU, which was rejected in April during a referendum after November 1st.

'November 1 is no deadline for Ukraine or Europe. For me is to find a good solution important, not setting a deadline, 'said the Ukrainian minister Pavlo Klimkin of Foreign Affairs Wednesday. He not only consults with Bert Koenders (Foreign Affairs), but also goes along with some opposition parties including the Christian Democrats to persuade them to the convention not to drop.

Behind the scenes Koenders carries pressure consultation with opposition parties. We are looking for a solution where the parties can live with. If this substantive part is settled, it is easier to ask for a 'few weeks' delay, according to a person.
