Uber to larger headquarters in Amsterdam

Uber moves its international headquarters in Amsterdam to a new, larger location in the capital.

The technology company announced Wednesday at the end of this year to move to the new office complex The Cloud next to the Amstel Station. Uber established its international headquarters in 2012 in Amsterdam and since 2015 office at Albus. As the number of employees grew from fifty to four hundred.

The Amsterdam office is the only location outside its headquarters in San Francisco where Uber app developers also employs. Furthermore there are among other departments for research, marketing and sales in Amsterdam.

Uber is an app for linking drivers to passengers operates in 500 cities in 73 countries. In the Netherlands, the service UberPOP was that taxi rides in the car pensions made possible previously banned. Regular taxi rides through the app are possible.
