\u0026 # x27; Trailing \u0026 # x27; Mayor NYC is re-elected

The mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, is re-elected as the burgher of the largest city in the United States on Tuesday.

The 56-year-old De Blasio belongs to the left wing of the Democratic Party. He became in 2014 due to 73 percent of the votes mayor of the metropolis, which is listed as a democratic bulwark.

It raises criticism of De Blasio because he argues, according to his critics, to come up with meaningful policies and to tackle important issues. Many of his four-year electoral promises have not been met. But his main rival, almost 37-year-old Republican Nicole Malliotakis, does not seem to benefit. In a recent poll, she received only 17 percent and De Blasio about 60 percent.

Tuesday is an exciting poll in the state of Virginia. Democrat Ralph Northam and Republican Ed Gillespie fight for governance. The state of New Jersey therefore chooses a governor. The Democrat Phil Murphy seems to be able to win the Republican Kim Guadagno effortlessly.
