Turkey arrests dozens of IS suspects

The Turkish police have arrested 38 people who would have links with terrorist organization Islamic State.

According to state press agency Anadolu, police officers used rush rams to break doors, after which they searched the premises. The raids took place simultaneously. Several arrested suspects reportedly have Syrian nationality.

An alleged IS-trailer committed an attack on a nightclub in Istanbul last year around the turn of the year. This caused 39 people to die and many dozens of people were injured. The Turkish police later arrested an Uzbek suspect. The lawsuit against the man and dozens of suspects commenced earlier this month.
