Trump releases FBI chief Comey

US President Donald Trump has fired FBI director James Comey on Tuesday.

Comey's departure marks a new beginning for our law enforcement law enforcement, 'Trump said in a statement. Who will follow him is still unknown.

James Comey was appointed in 2013 by former President Barack Obama.
