Trump: quick clarity about perpetrators Douma

US President Donald Trump once again condemned the possible poison gas attack in Syrian Douma.

Trump told the armed forces to discuss who is responsible for the attack in the rebel enclave. 'I do not really doubt, but the generals are probably out within 24 hours,' the president said. He did not rule out a military response: 'Nothing is taken off the table. '

It would not be the first time that the US repaid a chemical attack in Syria. The Americans fired dozens of cruise missiles at a Syrian air base last year. That was a reaction to the attack on the city of Khan Sheikhoun, where many dozens of civilian deaths had fallen.

Also the attack in Douma last weekend would have cost the lives of dozens of people. Sources around the US government said Monday that there are indications that nerve gas has been used. The Syrian regime denies having used chemical weapons.
