Trump minister follows on waterboarding

The US president Donald Trump let his Secretary of Defense James Mattis about whether waterboarding and other interrogation techniques used to elicit information from detainees.

'I do not necessarily agree, but I tell you that is going to be decided above that of me because I give him that power,' Trump said at a news conference with visiting British Prime Minister Theresa May in the White House. 'I think it works. I'm open for a long time about it. But I will go with our leaders. '
