Trump has successor McGahn in mind

US President Donald Trump has Pat Cipollone in mind as successor to legal adviser Donald McGahn, who will soon leave the White House.

Trump has spoken with Cipollone this week. He is now a partner of a law firm that has a good name in Washington through lawsuits relating to government institutions, including in the areas of healthcare, commerce and trade arrangements. He also has experience with crisis management and in-depth research at government agencies.

The White House has not yet responded to the reporting. Cipollone also refrains from commenting for the time being.
