Trump cuts heavily into foreign aid

The Trump government budget proposal puts the knife back in US spending abroad.

The US contribution to improving global health, including efforts to combat HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, has decreased by almost a quarter to about 5.8 billion euros in 2018.

In addition, Trump's plans provide a 44% discount on funds for international organizations. It is not specified which ones are. NATO remains at the bottom of the cut.
