Tourists Drama at Koh Samui

In an accident with a motorboat on the Thai island of Koh Samui on Thursday two female tourists drowned.

The long, narrow boat carried 31 tourists and a Thai. The boat hit by a sudden strong wave to, reports the Thai newspaper The Nation. The vessel was the Angthongeilanden on the way to Koh Samui when it capsized.

Koh Samui lies in the Gulf of Thailand. It is after Phuket and Koh Chang the third island in size from Thailand.
