Tolimir died of natural causes

The former Bosnian Serb General Zdravko Tolimir was in the night of Monday to Tuesday in the Scheveningen prison died of natural causes.

Tolimir was sentenced convicted by the tribunal to include war crimes and genocide, and to life. He was the top security chief in the Bosnian Serb army and the right hand of General Ratko Mladic.

The 67-year-old Tolimir was unwell around 21. Monday 00. Medical treatment to no avail. The cause of death was not disclosed, but Tolimir said last year at the court that four stents were placed in his heart to keep the blood vessels. The former general looked weak last year while sitting out.
