Timmermans reports sad news Poland and Hungary

EU Member States have not taken any new steps in criminal proceedings against Poland and Hungary.

Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans talked to the EU ministers for European Affairs about the state of affairs. 'Sadly, not much has changed and some things have worsened,' said Timmermans about Poland, against which Brussels opened the proceedings more than a year ago. He is concerned, among other things, with disciplinary measures against Polish judges who submit questions to the European Court of Justice.
