Thousands of weather for Alpe d \u0026 # x27; HuZes up the mountain

Around 4500 participants will participate in the Alpe d \u0026 # x27; HuZes on Thursday.

Sylvia Struiwigh-Tekstra, who is a cancer patient herself, gives the starting signal at 4.30 am. Among the participants, who are sponsored, there are always many (ex-) cancer patients, family and friends.

Comedian Guido Weijers, weatherman Marco Verhoef and musical artist René van Kooten also participate. They take the fight on the bike with the 21 hairpin bends.

The event will take place this year for the thirteenth time. Since 2006, a total of 150 million has been raised. Around 20.00 hours, when the last participants have crossed the finish line, the provisional final amount of action will be announced.

Those who stay at home can follow the day via a joint broadcast on various regional broadcasters. Furthermore, the event can be followed via Facebook (Alpe d'HuZes), Instagram and Twitter.
