The Netherlands tackles member of the Antwerp drug family

The Netherlands has arrested a 61-year-old drugs suspect from Antwerp and surrendered to Belgium.

In the investigation, the Antwerp police searched twelve buildings in mid-December, in which drugs were found, four cafés closed and six people arrested. Among them the brother (59) and nephew (31) of the man. According to the Public Prosecution Service in Antwerp, this trio led the criminal organization. The suspect turned out to have gone to Morocco, but then resurfaced in the Netherlands, where he was arrested.
