At the 'back of the moon covers the radio contact with the spacecraft earth road and the astronauts hear an hour nothing in their headphones.

From a broadcast of Science Channel show that Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan all three almost an hour long hearing. It stopped when the radio contact with Houston became possible again. From conversations from the cockpit of Apollo 10 that the astronauts consider whether they would report it to Mission Control in Houston.

The transcripts of the conversations of the astronauts received after the mission stamped 'confidential' and disappeared into the NASA archives. The transcripts were only decades later surfaced.

Apollo 10 did preliminary tests with the lunar module that would actually use when landing Apollo 11 in July of that year.
