Thai boys July 19th from hospital

The Thai football players who were rescued from a cave at the start of this week where they were held for about three weeks will be discharged from the hospital on Thursday 19 July.

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday the boys were taken out of the cave in groups by divers and taken to the hospital. It appeared that some boys had contracted an infection, but that health was generally good.

The twelve football players between eleven and sixteen years and their trainer (25) disappeared on 23 June. They were then trapped by water that blocked the exit of the cave. It turned out to be not easy to save the boys, but with fast rising water the rescue workers had to take action soon after the boys were found.
