Terrorists invade church in Grozni

Terrorists are armed with rifles and petrol bombs invading a church in the Chechen capital Grozni with the intention of taking the present believers hostage.

Two cops and a visitor to the Cathedral of Archangel Michael also died during the firefight.

The peace in and around the church has now been restored. Ramzan Kadirov, the president of the Russian federal republic, said that three killed militants have been identified as Chechens. The gang leader comes from a different country in the region.

The responsibility for the terrorist act has not yet been claimed. Recently, Islamic State threatened to carry out attacks in Russia during the World Cup.
