Tensions at border Belize and Guatemala

Between Guatemala and Belize running tensions.

The Guatemalan president Jimmy Morales speaks of a cowardly attack and demands that those responsible be punished. The government of Belize says that its soldiers were attacked and had to defend themselves. The security forces are increasingly attacked by Guatemalans who engage in illegal business in the border area, the national news agency of Belize said.

In the border are more likely to tensions between Guatemala and Belize. That's partly because the two countries do not fully agree on where the border runs exactly.
