Tens of thousands of babies with microcephaly

Tens of thousands of babies will be born with the possible zikavirus related microcephaly.

Microcephaly is a disorder of the central nervous system that causes too small skull size and lagging development of the brains.

The researchers have calculated that total about 94.3 million people will be infected with the zikavirus. Among them are some 1.65 million pregnant women.
