T2 campus in Genk step closer

The T2-campus (Talent and Technology) on the Thor in Genk will receive 12.


         The T2 campus in Genk, northwest of Maastricht, according to the minister a state of the art technology campus where businesses and education directed to collaborate on the development of technical talent to stimulate the economy in Belgian Limburg. The training will focus on new technologies that meet the needs of companies, reports news agency Belga. The starting range focuses on the four areas of electrical engineering, ICT (new) energy and (new) materials.
Muyters describes the T2 campus as a promoter of engineering and technology 'and' an accelerator for dissemination of new and emerging technologies with a lot of scope for entrepreneurship. The total investment amounts to 43 million euros. Next spring, the planning permission is submitted and the contract begins.
