Syrian government wants to exchange prisoners

The Syrian government arms are open to exchange prisoners with the rebels.

'We are always ready to exchange prisoners for people kidnapped by terrorist groups, especially now in the context of the efforts for the coming meeting in Astana,' the government.

Delegations from both parties by Kazakhstan invited to talk Wednesday and Thursday in Astana again on the crisis in Syria. On February 20, there are also planned peace talks in Geneva under UN leadership. The rebels have not yet responded to the gesture by the Syrian government.

Earlier this month, the government and rebel groups already dozens of female prisoners and hostages exchanged some of them with their children, in the province of Hama in northwest Syria.
