Sudan wants apology Ploumen

The authorities in Southern Sudan demands that Minister Lilianne Ploumen (Development) apologizes for the comment she made recently on Dutch television.

'The leaders of South Sudan are bastards who starve their own people,' Ploumen said last week at a reporter from RTL News in response to the famine that holds the country in its grip.

Last week it was announced that the government releases additional six million euros for South Sudan and Somalia. A Giro555 fundraiser for victims of the famine took 30 million euros, as it was announced Wednesday.
