Strike German pilots Ryanair

FRANKFURT- German Ryanair pilots lay down work for four hours Friday morning.

The work stoppage runs from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. At that time, around 16 flights of Ryanair are planned in Germany, with approximately 3,000 passengers. This is the first time pilots have taken up the job with the Irish prize fighter.

The action comes after initial negotiations between VC and Ryanair about collective agreements on wages and other terms of employment had come to nothing. Now many pilots still work on the basis of individual agreements with Ryanair. According to the pilots' union, their terms of employment lag far behind those of colleagues at other airlines. According to VC will not be discontinued during the Christmas season.
