Stockholm gets 5G in 2018

While in the Netherlands T-Mobile as the last major supplier is working to roll out its 4G + network, Ericsson announced already in 2018 to offer 5G services.

The Swedish network builder works with provider TeliaSonera, which will roll out even faster network in two years in Stockholm and Tallinn, capital of Estonia and Sweden respectively.

In addition to high speed internet with 5G Ericsson promises more opportunities for the internet of things, connecting devices via the network. This development is described that more and more devices, refrigerators and washing machines to alarm systems connected to the Internet. Thus, they can be controlled remotely.
